Sneak peek of the upcoming case management improvements
We need your feedback about enhancements to the case management module in Mark43. This survey includes 2 short prototype tests; Adding reports to an existing Investigation and Creating an Investigation that involves multiple incidents. Please check it out and share it with the Detectives and Detective Supervisors at your agency.Participants will need to open the link and follow the instructions on screen. This should take no longer than 5 minutes. The survey will remain open until March 17th.
Do you engage in community outreach around fire safety (and pets)?
500,000 pets are impacted by home fires every year, according to the American Kennel Club. At local events in their communities, many fire departments take time to discuss fire safety with families, and pets may not be part of that conversation. If your agency discusses pet fire safety during community engagements (local events, visits to schools, field trips, etc.) or participates in National Pet Fire Safety Day, we want to feature you in an upcoming blog. We will publish the blog on July 15, which is National Pet Fire Safety Day. Whether you have formal events or just share information during every day community interactions, we’d love to write about the community engagement. A quick personal example: The local fire department responded to a call through my security monitoring company after a fire in my kitchen. I was able to put the fire out myself thanks to a fire extinguisher I keep in my kitchen, but because firefighters were already at my house we had a quick conversation about

Creating a group is a great way to connect with other community members from around the world. Want to talk about your favorite sports team with someone across the country? Have an interest in sharing your loadout best practices and want to learn more about others? Put in a request to create a group! How do I request a new group? To request a group, please follow these steps: Create a post in the Group Request category that shares your idea for a group In your post, please answer the following questions: What would you like to name the group? Who would this group be for? How would individuals benefit from this group? What sort of topics would you like to cover in this group? Would you be willing to serve as a group owner? You now have at your fingertips access to more than 100 help center documents, customers just like you, and our team of moderators to help answer your inquiries. Creating a New Post is Simple and Rewarding. Be a conversation starter or help educate other community members. 1. Select + New Post From any page on the Mark43 Guardian Community, you can always select + CREATE A POST in the top right to create a new post. 2. Select the type of post you’d like to create Here you will be presented with two options: a Question or a Conversation. Here’s what to consider when selecting your type of post: QuestionPosting a Question signifies to the community that you are looking for a solution to your question or problem. This does a few things for the community: Signifies to Mark43 that you have a question – our moderators will be alerted that you submitted a question and can work to help you find an answer Signifies to the community that you need help – Questions appear in the Help Others section on the homepage and are labeled throughout the platform with a ? icon. Lastly, replies to questions can be marked as a Best Answer, which helps the rest
