Creating a group is a great way to connect with other community members from around the world. Want to talk about your favorite sports team with someone across the country? Have an interest in sharing your loadout best practices and want to learn more about others? Put in a request to create a group! How do I request a new group? To request a group, please follow these steps: Create a post in the Group Request category that shares your idea for a group In your post, please answer the following questions: What would you like to name the group? Who would this group be for? How would individuals benefit from this group? What sort of topics would you like to cover in this group? Would you be willing to serve as a group owner? Promote your group to other community members by tagging them in the comments of your post, direct messaging them, or sharing a link to your post. How can I get my group request approved? Creating a New Post is Simple and Rewarding. Be a conversation starter or help educate other community members. 1. Select + New Post From any page on the Mark43 Guardian Community, you can always select + CREATE A POST in the top right to create a new post. 2. Select the type of post you’d like to create Here you will be presented with two options: a Question or a Conversation. Here’s what to consider when selecting your type of post: QuestionPosting a Question signifies to the community that you are looking for a solution to your question or problem. This does a few things for the community: Signifies to Mark43 that you have a question – our moderators will be alerted that you submitted a question and can work to help you find an answer Signifies to the community that you need help – Questions appear in the Help Others section on the homepage and are labeled throughout the platform with a ? icon. The Learn & Share parent category is where members will spend the majority of their time discussing Mark43, its products, and more. You can view all of the discussion categories in the community at any time by scrolling down to the Community content feed and selecting the Discussion Categories tab.
